Scrip Manager can simultaneously process scheduled and non scheduled orders.
Scheduled orders are linked to a Order Period which is set in the calendar. Users are limited to one order per order period. Users may update their orders in the user area any time before the due date.
Non scheduled or continuous orders are unlimited in nature. A non scheduled order is linked only to an order date and a user may have an unlimited number of orders for any order date. Users may not update a non scheduled order once it is placed.
Scheduled orders are recommended for weekly orders. This enables Scrip Manager to group your weekly orders for easier processing. Non scheduled orders are recommended for cash and carry type sales to enable multiple orders.
Handling Cash and Carry Sales? Continuous ordering is often run along side scheduled ordering if an organization handles cash and carry sales. The user side is set to scheduled ordering while the administration area is set to both.
