Delivery options are how an order is delivered to the user. A delivery option is required when placing an online order and may be selected by administrators when entering orders. You may add additional delivery options or edit the existing options.
Adding a delivery option
- Navigate to Settings->Delivery Options.
- The Settings: Delivery Options page will be displayed. Click the New Delivery Option button on the right side of the page.
- The New Delivery Option page will be displayed. Enter a name in the Name field.
- Toggle User Status on to make this delivery option available on the user order form.
- Toggle Admin Status on to make this delivery option available on the admin order form.
- To restrict the payment options a user may select for this delivery option, toggle Limit User Payment Options on, then check the payments that will be available. These restrictions are only enforced on the user order form.
- Click the Save button.
Editing a delivery option
- On the Settings: Delivery Options page, locate the option you wish to edit. Use the Search Name... box if needed.
- Click the Edit button in that option's row.
- The Edit Delivery Option page will be displayed. Make the necessary changes.
- Click the Save button.
Deleting a delivery option
- On the Settings: Delivery Options page, locate the option you wish to delete.
- Click the Delete button in that option's row.
- A confirmation dialog will be displayed. Click the 'Yes, Delete' button to confirm.
Note: Default delivery options cannot be deleted. To delete a default option, first set a different option as the default, or disable it instead.
Setting a default delivery option
You can set a default delivery option for the user order form and a separate default for the admin order form. The default is preselected when a user or administrator places an order.
- On the Settings: Delivery Options page, locate the option you wish to set as the default.
- Click the star icon next to its User Status (to set as the user default) or Admin Status (to set as the admin default). A filled green star indicates the current default.
Changing the order of delivery options
The order in which delivery options are displayed on the order forms can be changed by drag-and-drop. On the Settings: Delivery Options page, grab a row by its drag handle (the ≡ icon on the left) and drop it into the desired position. The new order is saved automatically.
